eTrepid website policy
Ethics & Business Conduct
eTrepid is committed to conducting business with integrity, honesty, accountability, and respect for the legal, contractual, security, and public-trust obligations associated with our work. This public statement describes the principles we expect to guide eTrepid personnel and those acting on eTrepid’s behalf. Contract-specific clauses, internal procedures, and applicable law remain controlling.
Integrity and accurate representations
We communicate capabilities, credentials, contract vehicles, business status, past performance, partnerships, product relationships, security practices, compliance work, and AI functions accurately and within the supporting record. We do not knowingly misstate certification, assessment authority, awarded scope, eligibility, outcomes, or another party’s endorsement.
Government contracting
We support fair and lawful acquisition and performance. Personnel must protect procurement-sensitive, source-selection, contractor bid or proposal, classified, CUI, and other protected information; avoid improper influence; maintain accurate records; and comply with applicable contract clauses and disclosure obligations.
eTrepid’s GSA MAS award and other acquisition records establish only what the authoritative record supports. They do not guarantee an award, authorize every service under every order, or replace buyer and contracting-officer determinations.
Conflicts of interest, gifts, and improper payments
Personnel and representatives must avoid, disclose, and appropriately manage actual or potential conflicts of interest. Bribes, kickbacks, improper gratuities, facilitation payments, fraudulent claims, and other improper benefits are prohibited. Gifts, meals, travel, entertainment, and business courtesies must comply with applicable law, contract requirements, and eTrepid policy.
Records, billing, and evidence
Business, time, expense, invoice, proposal, performance, security, compliance, and evidence records must be accurate, complete, attributable, and maintained under applicable requirements. Records must not be fabricated, backdated, concealed, or altered to mislead a client, auditor, assessor, agency, partner, or other stakeholder.
Confidentiality, privacy, and security
We protect personal, client, government, partner, employee, and proprietary information according to its sensitivity, applicable law, contract, and approved handling requirements. Access should be limited to authorized purposes and people. Suspected loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure must be reported promptly through the applicable channel.
Responsible AI
AI use must remain within approved purpose, data, authority, access, and oversight boundaries. Material AI-supported decisions and actions must preserve human accountability appropriate to the context. Personnel must not use unapproved AI tools or expose protected information to AI systems without authorization and required safeguards.
Fair dealing and respect
We treat clients, employees, applicants, partners, suppliers, competitors, government personnel, and the public professionally and fairly. Retaliation, discrimination, harassment, intimidation, fraud, and deliberate misuse of authority are inconsistent with these commitments.
Raising concerns
Personnel and other stakeholders are encouraged to report suspected misconduct, conflicts, fraud, security events, inaccurate claims, or violations of law, contract, or policy. Reports should be made in good faith and may be escalated through contract-specific channels or to an appropriate government Office of Inspector General when required or appropriate.
Reports may be submitted to [email protected]. eTrepid does not represent that this channel is anonymous, and confidentiality will be handled according to the circumstances and applicable requirements.
eTrepid prohibits retaliation against a person for making a good-faith report or participating in an authorized review. Reports may be evaluated, investigated, documented, escalated, and remediated according to the circumstances and applicable requirements.
Accountability
Violations may result in corrective or disciplinary action, removal from an assignment, termination of a business relationship, disclosure to an authorized party, or other action required by law or contract. eTrepid will cooperate with authorized audits, investigations, and corrective actions while preserving applicable legal rights and protections.
